Huawei Y7 Pro 2019

The Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 is a new smartphone that was officially announced together with the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 (rank #7 below). With its better specs such as a 6.26-inch FullView display, Snapdragon 450 chipset, 3GB RAM and 4000mAh battery, it easily topped this month's ranking.

Here's my unboxing of the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018)

The recent price drop for the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is the biggest reason for its rise in popularity this month. The 4GB RAM variant now costs ₱15,990 from an original SRP of ₱17,990 while the 6GB RAM variant is now selling for ₱19,990 from ₱17,990 original SRP.

Huawei Nova 2 Lite

I'm still not sure why the Huawei Nova 2 Lite is very popular nowadays despite being a year old already. It topped the ranking last month but the new models from Huawei have replaced its fame. It's still a win for the brand though.

Vivo Y91i

Just like Samsung's A7, the Vivo Y91i is now popular because of a recent price drop. From its original price of ₱8,499, it's now more affordable ₱7,999.

Huawei Y9 2019

The Huawei Y9 2019 may not be as new as the Y7 Pro, but it's set of features make it a great choice. It has a large FullView display, Kirin 710 chipset, 4GB of RAM, quad cameras with AI and a 4000mAh battery.

OPPO A3s

The OPPO A3s is still going strong! It's been four months and the affordable smartphone from OPPO is still in the rankings. Yes, it has slipped down from the top spot but it will forever be remembered as the smartphone for the masses.

The Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 is the second smartphone that Huawei launched in February 2019. It's the more affordable option but boasts a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration!

Samsung's affordable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J4+, dropped by a single position this month. However, there are upcoming smartphones from the Korean giant that might become popular choices in the country soon.

Huawei Nova 3i

Huawei's midrange offering, the Huawei Nova 3i, maintained its position from last month. The quad camera-equipped smartphone is now receiving EMUI 9 software update that introduces new features and improved performance.

OPPO F9

It's a bit surprising to see the OPPO F9 in the rankings since it's already six months old and its successor is just around the corner. However, its new color, the OPPO Jade Green, and its recent price drop has contributed to its resurgence.
