Top 10 Smartphones in the Philippines in April 2019 Based on PTG Pageviews

Compared to the previous month, fewer smartphones were launched in the Philippines in April 2019. Still, the most notable launching event was Huawei’s P30 Series.

Here are the most viewed smartphone specs pages in Pinoy Techno Guide’s database in this period. As usual, these are pageviews brought to the site by organic sources only. Runners up and the rankings of flagship smartphones are also included below.

Congratulations to the Samsung Galaxy A50 for maintaining the number one spot from March to April 2019!

Meanwhile, Huawei has four smartphones in the list. These are the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 at rank 2, the new Huawei P30 Lite at rank 6, Huawei Nova 2 Lite at rank 7 and Huawei P30 Pro at rank 10. Having the more affordable smartphones at the top is perfectly normal here in the Philippines.

Vivo’s new affordable smartphone joins the list at rank 3 but the Vivo V15 Pro dropped to rank 9 from rank 3 in the previous month.

The very popular Realme 3 did not move from rank 4.

Lastly, the OPPO A3s is still in the list at rank 5 while the OPPO F11 Pro climbed to rank 8 after barely missing the 10th spot in the previous month by merely 39 views.

Runners Up

A new budget smartphone joins the runners up this month – the Samsung Galaxy A10. I expect this one to climb up in the list next month.

Flagship Smartphone Rankings

It’s unusual for a flagship smartphone to join this list but the 50x zoom of the Huawei P30 Pro seem to be so popular that it got the 10th spot in this month’s rankings. The regular Huawei P30 is also at the rank 34.

Other smartphones with flagship level specs are the Pocophone F1 at rank 21 and Xiaomi Mi 9 at rank 40.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ are also in the list at rank 63 and 93 respectively. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Fold with a foldable display complete the April 2019 list at rank 98.
